Apple may launch three new iPhones in 2018.
Johannesburg - With the Apple iPhone X set to launch in South Africa on Friday, rumours around iPhones slated for a 2018 release have already begun to surface.KGI Securities analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, renowned for making accurate claims around Apple products prior to their launch, has suggested Apple will announce three new iPhones next year.

The 5,8 inch and 6,5 inch devices are expected to feature OLED displays, Kuo suggested.
He has also said that Apple’s 2018 iPhones will all feature the same borderless display shape of the iPhone X.
It has also been suggested that the 6.5 inch device, which will become Apple’s largest smartphone, will rival the Samsung Galaxy Note8 launched in South Africa recently.
Kuo recently accurately predicted that Apple would ditch its Touch ID in favour of Face ID for the iPhone X.

New cellular contracts and upgrades for the iPhone X on the Vodacom, MTN, and Telkom networks are also expected to be available at all iStores from this week, until the smartphone’s launch on Friday 24 November.
The iPhone X, pronounced "iPhone 10", feature Apple's new Super Retina Display, and has ditched the well-known home button on the device.
It also uses the latest in facial recognition technology to unlock the device.
The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, which were launched alongside the iPhone X, are already available from network providers and other retailers from R 13 499.
